Does ChatGPT recommend your shop?
Tsari Bombelli, Bombelli Analytics
People are increasingly asking ChatGPT and other AI systems which products to buy, where to buy them, and what experiences others have had. This creates a new channel for visibility. Whether a store appears in these answers depends on the sources behind them.
The sources vary depending on the question and the industry. In four analysed industries, 75 to 90 percent of references came from external sites. In watches, a single marketplace accounted for a third. In another, media outlets and forums accounted for two-thirds, comparison sites for almost nothing.
The presentation shows this change, how to measure it yourself, and the technical requirements a website must meet to be cited.

Interview with a Hacker: How Magento PolyShell Was Born
Laurentius Judhianto, StoreFrame B.V.
Let's Talk Hacking... Did I ever hack a site? Yea, a few. It's out of curiosity. I had to learn it out of necessity, to think like a hacker, to test out our defense against the dark arts. Thus, I began my journey by interviewing one of the creators of Magento PolyShell and this is what they told me.

Why am I so busy?
Ksenia Zvereva, Mollie
Why are we all so busy - and still feel like we're not doing enough?
This isn't a talk about better to-do lists. It's about why busyness takes over our days: the illusion of productivity, our addiction to feeling important, and our tendency to mistake motion for progress. We'll explore why urgency becomes our default and how to make room for what actually matters. Expect reflection, some laughs, and a few uncomfortable truths.

Improving Alpine.js Code With Design Patterns
Jisse Reitsma, Loki Extensions
Alpine.js has rapidly become the JavaScript framework of choice for Magento storefronts. Its simplicity makes it easy to build and extend interactive UI components, which is exactly why it is so easy to underestimate the complexity that can emerge as a project grows. As more components are added, code can become tightly coupled, difficult to reason about, and increasingly hard to maintain. This session explores practical design patterns for structuring Alpine.js components in Magento, helping you build rich, interactive interfaces that remain modular, scalable, and maintainable as your codebase evolves. The talk is meant for developers, offering code samples, real proven solutions and caveats to consider.

Smart Ways of Breaking Backwards Compatibility
Jakub Winkler, qoliber
In this talk, I'll share how I improve Magento Open Source by replacing technical debt with cleaner, better-designed code - even when that means breaking backwards compatibility.
I'll show practical ways to make these changes safely, using smart fallbacks, migration paths, and compatibility layers so the platform can move forward without leaving the ecosystem behind.

Accessibility Testing with AI
Sean van Zuidam, Hyvä
Accessibility is no longer optional, the European Accessibility Act and German BFSG apply to most online shops. Yet, AI assistants often generate inaccessible code, repeating flawed patterns like div buttons, missing labels, and unchecked contrast.
We'll cover how accessibility testing actually works: what automated tools catch versus what only keyboard navigation and screen readers reveal. Then, we'll examine where and why AI fails.
Finally, we'll fix it. Learn how to guide AI with targeted context and turn it from a bug generator into an accessibility reviewer that catches semantic issues your scanner misses. You'll leave with a practical workflow ready for your own projects.

Spend Time on Performance or Miss Out
Jordy Scholing, RUMvision
In this talk, I'm going to explain the tech and business side of web performance. For some people, it's a topic that they simply don't care about, which isn't a logical way of thinking as you can get more revenue by focussing on performance, even with a few hours of effort.

Unfuck Your Google Ads: Scale Ad Spend, Revenue & Profit at Once
Damian Zielinski, Searchperts Deutschland GmbH
Many Google Ads accounts are stuck on an ad spend plateau: rising CPCs and ROAS targets that look "good" on paper but quietly block growth and profit. In this talk, I'll walk through a real shop case where we broke out of a 30k spend/month plateau and increased ad spend, revenue, and profit at the same time by shifting from ROAS to Profit. You'll get a clear, actionable framework that helps agencies and merchants structure Google Ads with a profit-first approach and scale them predictably.

Everyone Has AI. Why Should Anyone Choose You?
Nicole Mentzen, maxcluster GmbH
AI is rapidly commoditising execution.
Content, campaigns, code, research—even strategy drafts—can now be created in minutes. As access to AI becomes universal, technology alone is no longer a competitive advantage.
So what will customers choose instead?
In this session, I'll share what two years of integrating AI into our marketing organisation taught us about competition, differentiation, and growth. The biggest lesson wasn't about using AI better—it was about becoming harder to replace.
Through practical examples from the commerce ecosystem, you'll discover why trust, partnerships, community, and authentic expertise are becoming the strongest differentiators in an AI-first world.

Vibe-Coding ist kein Geschäftsmodell. Wie shop4runners.com mit Magento, Hyvä & BatteryIncluded skaliert.
Simon Reichel, BatteryIncluded GmbH

Alfred Maier, maxcluster GmbH
