Just recently we published the program of Meet Magento DE 2019 - the biggest Magento event in the German-speaking world. With about 50 speakers from well-known companies like Adobe, Microsoft and Google as well as a lot of experts from the e-commerce and Magento environment, the foundation for this year's Magento event on June 3rd and 4th in Leipzig has been built.
The Meet Magento DE will take place in 2019 for the tenth year in a row and this year's event is again aimed at e-commerce enthusiasts and the entire Magento ecosystem: shop owners, manufacturers, service providers, agencies, developers and of course the Magento community. For those who want to take Magento and Adobe to the next level, there is no way around Meet Magento DE!
With Dr. Kai Hudetz, Managing Director IFH Cologne and one of the leading e-commerce experts in the German-speaking world, another highlight is on stage. The "usability pope" Johannes Altmann will give a talk on the "MVP from hell". Dr. Matthias Orthwein, we have been able to win over one of the leading IT lawyers from the renowned law firm SKW Schwarz, who will enrich the program with the topic "Digital Design Thinking and Law - Two Sides of the Same Medal". He will clarify what increasing digitalisation means from a legal point of view and what you should definitely consider now and in the future.
The technicians will also get their money's worth with presentations by PHP guru Stefan Priebsch, Magento Master Riccardo Tempesta, Andrey Lipattsev from Google on the topic of Progressive Web Apps, as well as a few more. Of course the Magento Community Evangelist Ben Marks will be there again this year!
Christoph Kull (Vice President & Managing Director Central Europe, Adobe) will address the increasing importance of the best possible customer experience and corresponding solutions in the keynote speech on the second day of the event "Customer Experience at Scale" and also give an outlook on what customers, partners and the community can expect in the future. All in all, the presentations from Magento and Adobe will also answer the questions: What does the Adobe Commerce Cloud mean for Magento? Where do we stand now? Where in the future? Why is Magento the best choice for retailers?
Last but not least, we as organizers are looking forward to experiencing the cooperation between Adobe, Microsoft and SAP announced last fall at Meet Magento in practice. Cornelia Heyde from Microsoft, expert for New Work and Modern Leadership, will give a talk on the topic "New Work & Old Leadership? - The Transformation of Collaboration and Leadership in the Digital Age", which will focus on the successful transformation of Microsoft in the recent past.
This year will also see the third edition of the successful "Merchant to Merchant" format, in which retailers and manufacturers themselves will be on stage to talk about experiences, projects and challenges. In addition to all these highlights, the program of this year's Meet Magento DE offers a total of around 50 talks in the tracks Business Strategies, B2B, Technology, Best Practices and Innovations on topics such as PWA, SEO 2019, Headless Magento, Modern Project Management and much more.
